Description
A 56 year old gentleman who was diagnosed with neuroendocrine carcinoma of the ileum after presenting with chronic right lumbar pains. He underwent surgery in March 2021 where complete resection of the tumor was done. Histology of the surgical specimen showed features of small neuroendocrine carcinoma, pathological stage T4N1Mx. The patient is currently asymptomatic, on two monthly reviews.
